On May 15, the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation agreement between Fehorizon and Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge University was held at Fehorizon Plaza in Shanghai, attended and witnessed by Mr. Kong Fanxing, Chairman, Executive Director and CEO of Fehorizon. The Agreement was signed between Mr. Wang Mingzhe (Executive Director and CFO of Fehorizon) and Dame Professor Madeleine Atkins (President of Lucy Cavendish College and Vice-Chancellor of Cambridge University) on behalf of the two parties.


Through strategic cooperation, Fehorizon will further enrich the paths to top universities of the world for graduates of Horizon Education, introduce advanced education ideas and quality overseas education resources from world-class universities, and cultivate elite talent capable of contributing to the society, making scientific innovations and competing in the international arena. Meanwhile, Fehorizon will also give play to its “finance + industry” advantages, contribute to the continuous development of Lucy Cavendish College, Cambridge University, and help it to cultivate a new generation of talent with entrepreneurship and cultural tolerance facing the world.



Before the signing ceremony, the two parties had an exchange. CEO Kong Fanxing extended a warm welcome to the party of Dame Professor Madeleine Atkins. He said that Cambridge University is one of the world’s most time-honored universities, also recognized as one of the best institutions of higher education in the world today, with high academic status and widespread influence. Taking the signing of this strategic cooperation agreement as an opportunity, CEO Kong expressed hopes for continuing to expand interactions between Horizon Education and elite overseas universities like Cambridge University, enrich Horizon Education’s heritage, improve the connotations of school running, and keep consolidating the characteristics of integrated operations at home and abroad, so as to create more opportunities for the students of Horizon Education to enter world-famous universities.


 

Dame Madeleine expressed her heartfelt gratitude to CEO Kong for the warm reception and full of confidence for the future cooperation between the two parties. She remarked that to open up the gate of Cambridge University to more excellent young men is the DNA of Lucy Cavendish College, which boasts the most diversified sources of students in Cambridge University. Here, students from the world become the future leaders and innovators obviously needed by economy and society. Lucy Cavendish College is happy to reach strategic cooperation with Fehorizon and share its vision and development direction. She looks forward to strengthening communication and collaboration between the two parties, to cultivate more talent with international vision, creativity, entrepreneurship and leadership.
