On April 2, the Head of Wendeng District, Weihai and his traveling party visited our company to discuss in depth the comprehensive strategic cooperation between Wendeng District and Far East Horizon. The two sides will carry out all-round cooperation on urban infrastructure construction, industrial development and urban upgrading in Wendeng District to achieve win-win development. Lin Heng, Head of Wendeng District, and leaders of local Finance Bureau and Development Zone, Li Jiancheng, Vice President of Far East Horizon, and Yang Yongjun, General Manager of Urban Public Utilities Department I attended the exchange.

Win-Win Cooperation Promoting Urban Upgrading

During the talks, the leaders from Wendeng District and the Finance Bureau successively introduced the current development and future plans. Weihai is one of the "three cities in eastern Shandong", which belong to the richest regions in Shandong. Wendeng District, under jurisdiction of Weihai, had a GDP of 88 billion yuan and a general budget revenue of 5.4 billion yuan in 2018. In 2018, Wendeng District ranked 31st among the top 100 districts with comprehensive strength in the country. In the further development, Wendeng District Government hopes to strengthen cooperation with financial enterprises to jointly promote industrial transformation and upgrading and high-quality urban development.

Yang Yongjun, General Manager of Urban Public Utilities Department I, gave a detailed introduction to the basic situation of the Far East and cooperation background between the two sides. Far East Horizon will give full play to its own advantages to serve the overall planning of Wendeng District, assist it accelerating its renewal, and promote the sustainable development of the regional economy through establishing a strategic cooperation relationship. In terms of urban upgrading, the Far East will help the District to upgrade the level of urban infrastructure, improve the ecological environment, so as to give better human-oriented development by applying diversified methods, such as industrial park operation, long-term rental apartment operation, providing supporting facilities for urban upgrading and environmental protection and ecological management. In terms of innovative finance, the Far East, based on its accumulated experience in investment and financing of industrial entities and resources, will promote scientific and technological innovation, integration of industry and city, and urban renewal in Wendeng District through a variety of innovative ways, such as comprehensive capital services, direct bond investment, financial consultant services, engineering construction and financing.

Sincere Cooperation to Step Forward Together

The Head expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Far East for supporting the development of Wendeng District，and said that Wendeng District focuses on the transformation and upgrading of urban public utilities, medical care, education, transportation as well environment, which is consistent with the industrial direction of the Far East itself. The Head hopes to further deepen their cooperation on the basis of the existing ones, in municipal services, urban infrastructure construction, so as to have a higher level of mutual benefit and win-win results.

Li Jiancheng, Vice President of Far East Horizon, welcomed the visit of the leaders of Wendeng District and expressed his expectation for the long-term exchanges after the comprehensive strategic cooperation established. President Li Jiancheng said that in this new era, the Far East sticks to the concept of "servicing industrial upgrading and servicing urban upgrading" to provide comprehensive financial services for urban development.
