 "Safety education" starts with children. As one of the activities of Far East fire safety month, Confucius International School Shanghai of Horizon Education, part of Far East Horizon, recently opened a new "safety class". Nearly 1000 teachers and students entered the Shanghai public safety education training base. Through on-the-spot experience with full sense of science and technology, rich and colorful learning of safety knowledge, they fully understood the theme of the activity - "cherish life, care for life".

Learn the major eight safety skills one by one and keep public safety education in mind.
 

This safety training covers eight safety fields, including earthquake disaster, meteorological disaster, fire safety, air defense safety, rail transit safety, road traffic safety, daily life safety and emergency rescue. In 3 days, students have learned new knowledge in 13 theme training centers, exercised survival skills in 5 comprehensive training centers, alternated work with rest in animation training center, and mastered the ability of being out of harm’s way in emergency in 4D experience center.
 

The activities, scientific and interesting, are very popular with teachers and students. Combined with the daily safety education and training of Confucius International School, all of them learned a lot.

I used to think that I should hide under the table when the earthquake came, but here I learn that it is not the safest to be under the table when it happens. Firstly, I should open the door to prevent my escape from being blocked. Maybe I'll never meet such scenes in my life, but this experience benefits us for a lifetime.

To nip danger in the bud, Prevention is better than disaster relief and responsibility is of paramount importance. In recent years, the frequent security incidents in the education industry have attracted the close attention of parents and society. The Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Public Security clearly put forward at last year's National Teleconference on School Safety that schools all over the country are required to conscientiously implement the decisions and arrangements of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on school safety, deeply understand the overriding importance of maintaining campus safety and student safety, and implement various tasks of school safety and stability.
