Fehorizon Convened its 2024 Mid-Year Working Conference Themed “New Era, New FEHORIZON”

On July 12, Fehorizon’s 2024 mid-year working conference of key positions was convened at the FEHORIZON Plaza in Shanghai. Executive Director, Chairman, and CEO of Fehorizon Mr. Kong Fanxing attended the conference and made a summary speech. Executive Director and CFO of Fehorizon Mr. Wang Mingzhe presented the budget and performance analysis report for the first half of 2024, and the Company’s Vice President and General Manager of Strategy Center Mr. Xu Huibin reported on strategic planning.


It’s been three years since the last conference with “New Era, New FEHORIZON” as the theme. This working conference has profound implications, and can be said as an “epoch-making conference”. Over 200 managerial employees from various directions of the Company participated in the conference through 16 branch venues across the country, to together review the past development process, inspect the challenges of the current environment, and seek the Company's future path of iteration.



Mid-year Review: 

Fulfill the Missions Firmly and Tackle the Most Challenging Problems Urgently


The first half of 2024 witnessed sound management of the Company overall—Fehorizon managed to “hold the field” and “keep its formation”. Executive Director and CFO Mr. Wang Mingzhe pointed out in the financial report that in traditional business, Fehorizon was able to stick to the mainline tasks and maintain operation safety. Its independent sectors adhered to the established strategic directions; each of them fought its own battle efficiently, and on the whole, they have achieved smooth operation and stable development. Among them, CDHORIZON improved its business model in practice and maintained market-leading competitiveness; in addition to overall steady development, HCHORIZON gradually improved its operation level and became a health service platform with local recognition.



Nevertheless, the Company's operation still faces severe challenges, and the people of Fehorizon must once again firmly uphold their missions—re-recognize the environment, re-recognize the strategy, and make the entire staff act at once. It is emphasized in the conference report that “internationalization, marketization and specialization” and “dual services” is the only way out of the dilemma. Only through that can Fehorizon open up a new situation of operation completely.  


The conference report also pointed out that the overall goals remain unchanged for the second half of 2024. All directions of the Company must get rid of inertia, focus on the core tasks, and resolutely implement the strategy of “internationalization, marketization and specialization” and “dual services”. All staff of the Company must never give up or reconcile to failure. All strength must be mobilized to tackle the most challenging problems.

Since Fehorizon’s relocation to Shanghai in 2001, its past operation mode has effectively supported the Company’s rapid development in the last two decades. Today, facing the fundamental changes in the environment, Fehorizon stands on a new crossroad of history again. The Company’s Vice President and General Manager of Strategy Center Mr. Xu Huibin stated frankly in the strategic report that in the new era, Fehorizon must construct a distinct and game-changing new business ecosystem by subverting its past system with extraordinary innovation wisdom.


In such a brand-new business ecosystem, industrial activation is realized by upgrading clients, marketing, services and values on new dimensions, so as to create completely new values.

The evolution from innovative business model to business ecosystem makes clients re-recognize the values of Fehorizon.

With “internationalization, marketization and specialization” as the core, construct the uniqueness and leadership of “dual services”, integrate resources on a greater scale, and create a new Fehorizon with a superior combination of resources.

Meanwhile, the conference report has come up with specific requirements regarding conducting business in various directions for the second half of 2024, and pointed out that all people of Fehorizon must speed up their actions and implement “internationalization, marketization and specialization” and “dual services” to inject new vitality and new energy into Fehorizon.


Sharing by Business Departments: 

Seek Breakthroughs by Integrating “Dual Services” and Reach New Highs with Self-iteration


During the conference, general managers of business departments were especially invited to share their thoughts and ideas. Focusing on “internationalization, marketization and specialization” and “dual services”, General Manager Gu Jianjian from Equipment & Manufacturing Department III and General Manager Li Hua from Culture & Tourism Department II respectively elaborated on their new thinking and the new breakthroughs achieved in their respective business departments earlier this year from aspects including the transformation of operation and the improvement of management.




The two managers from two industrial directions said explicitly that the era when achievements can be made by merely “meeting the demand and expanding the coverage” was in the past; only by integrating “dual services”, breaking through the stereotype cognition and changing the means of operation can we overcome difficulties and keep reaching new heights.


“Seeing is believing!” said Li Hua during his sharing. With the rapid implementation of successful cases around us, the strategic pulling force of “internationalization, marketization and specialization” and “dual services” has become real and perceivable, and business operation has also formed a positive cycle. Gu Jianjian quote data in his sharing and said that thanks to “dual services”, Fehorizon has re-discovered many “stock clients”, and old clients have also re-recognized Fehorizon.




In the afternoon, with spotlight on the theme and surrounding the conference report, various leaders of the Company reported on their work with focus on their respective areas of responsibility. The attending leaders agreed unanimously that the strategic upgrade with “internationalization, marketization and specialization” and “dual services” as the core is the right way for Fehorizon to strengthen its foundation as well as the inevitable path to ushering a new era and refreshing the image of Fehorizon.


The attendees indicated that in the latter half of 2024, all business units shall upgrade the operation and management methods comprehensively surrounding the new business ecosystem, gather all strength, utilize all energy, and devote every effort to the future development of Fehorizon.

At the end of the conference, a summary speech was given by Executive Director, Chairman, and CEO of Fehorizon Mr. Kong Fanxing.



According to Mr. Kong, this conference is all about introspection, summary and further improvement of recognition. In the future, the Company will construct a brand-new business ecosystem, and lead future operation and development with a completely new business logic.



  1. Reshape the values of Fehorizon with an open and pluralistic new business ecosystem


Mr. Kong emphasized: unlike the so-called “business model upgrade” in the past, this one is a strategic upgrade—not simple “adjustment of planar construction” but rather “extension of spatial thinking”. This brand-new business ecosystem of Fehorizon is a pluralistic, open and organic ecosystem, which spans across the border, covers both B-end and C-end, and enables the linkage of multiple points and countries. In the future, Fehorizon will take the industrial clients of China as the root and foundation of its survival and reshape its due values.


2. Serve industries and entrepreneurs adequately and fully comprehensive the brand-new service logic 


Mr. Kong pointed out that the survival of Fehorizon ultimately relies on industries. We must serve private enterprises and entrepreneurs adequately, and that is the core proposition at this very moment. Fehorizon’s future business no longer revolves around solving the capital shortage of clients, but rather an “exchange of values” on the premise that the values of Fehorizon are recognized by entrepreneurs.


3. Emancipate the mind and broaden the vision in cognition, and follow the greatest truth and the simplest principle in practice


Mr. Kong indicated that knowledge is indispensable if we want to carry on the new business ecosystem, but cognition has even greater importance; besides a broad field of vision, we must have the scientific spirit. When it comes to actual practice, we should cast away seemingly clever skills and implement the Company’s strategy upgrade resolutely while keeping in mind that the greatest truth is the simplest.



Mr. Kong concluded: a new era calls for a new Fehorizon. The future Fehorizon will have new business logic, new operation pattern, new profit mode, and new business layout.


However difficult the future path may seem, the challenges will be overcome with our firm strides.
