Take the Wuxi R&D Center project of SVOLT Technology as an example. With 14600 square meters of foundation pit area, this project uses more than 1000 tons of steel in total. To achieve safe and green construction, CDHORIZON adopts its self-developed 2nd-generation HC steel structure of truss type, which effectively solves the problem of the bending and instability of single steel support in large-span foundation pit, and forms advantages including convenient installation, easy removal and significant reduction in noise and dust pollution, thus contributing to a green and low-carbon urban environment.


Regarding this project, the engineering team of CDHORIZON added: “To thoroughly implement green construction, we adopted solar lamps and LED lighting facilities during on-site construction. Steel structure was used substantially in construction to greatly reduce the usage of concrete, which both guarantees the construction speed and realizes energy conservation and environment protection.” Furthermore, the green concept was consistently practiced throughout the project. Details were implemented by CDHORIZON and the project leader, like using recycled water to wash vehicles entering and leaving the site, adopting metal atomizing fire sprinkler at the site to achieve effective dust control and turning on fog cannon and spray system to purify air, thereby providing nearby residents with good living conditions and improving air quality.



This is just one epitome of CDHORIZON’s “green engineering”, and there are still more similar construction cases. Due to its advantages including convenient and flexible construction, no maintenance period and easy removal, the neo-excavation support system has been highly recognized in the industry.
