Linking Up with International Authoritative Medical Resources—HCHORIZON Invited Cancer Institute Hospital of JFCR to Shanghai for Academic Exchange

On December 23, HCHORIZON (Fehorizon’s large healthcare group in China) together with its ecological partner Baikun Health invited Japan’s Cancer Institute Hospital of JFCR (“Cancer Institute Hospital”) to a themed seminar for academic exchange at the FEHORIZON Plaza in Shanghai. Based on the Cancer Institute Hospital’s cutting-edge technology and service philosophy in aspects including cancer treatment and early precision screening, in-depth exchanges were conducted by attendees from each side. By linking up with international authoritative medical experts and resources, the seminar has further broadened the disciplinary construction vision of HCHORIZON and its member hospitals.



Academic Expert Seminar to Exchange International Leading Treatment Ideas


The seminar began with an opening speech by General Manger Han Jiajie of Baikun Health. After extending a warm welcome to the expert team, Mr. Han indicated that since 2023, a good foundation has been laid for the partnership between Cancer Institute Hospital and Fehorizon as well as HCHORIZON, and that this seminar is of great importance for further deepening the academic exchange between both sides.



Later, Dr. Ito Kanron, head of the International Diagnosis and Treatment Department of Cancer Institute Hospital and a hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery specialist, delivered a special report titled “Current Management of Colorectal Cancer Liver Metastasis (CRLM): Surgical Perspective” based on his rich clinical experience and in-depth academic research. The report not only covers the frontier progress of relevant treatment and shares Cancer Institute Hospital’s treatment and follow-up data, but also introduces the key surgical techniques for liver metastasis of colorectal cancer in great details and offers valuable academic guidance for the attendees. During the interactive session, Dr. Ito patiently answered the many questions asked by attendees in a great atmosphere.





Mr. Tanaka Masanori, head of the Health Examination Center of Cancer Institute Hospital with nearly 40 years of experience at the Hospital, elaborated on the importance of early cancer screening and shared the professional advantages of Cancer Institute Hospital in this field through the report “Early Discovery & Early Treatment—Introduction to the Advantages of Precision Early Screening”. Mr. Tanaka’s speech has brought profound inspiration to the attending guests with detailed and accurate data and a vivid introduction. 




Strengthening Exchange & Cooperation and Continuously Empowering the Construction of Medical Disciplines


The seminar was concluded with a summary speech by Mr. Li Jiancheng, Vice President of Fehorizon and General Manager of HCHORIZON. First of all, Vice President Mr. Li Jiancheng expressed heartfelt thanks to Cancer Institute Hospital’s experts for their sharing, and expressed that the cooperation between both sides has kept deepening over the past year since Cancer Institute Hospital’s first visit to Fehorizon last year. In terms of medical talent training, successfully promoted the key disciplinary personnel of HCHORIZON’s member hospitals to study in Japan; in the improvement of medical technology, both teams continued exchanges and discussions; and in the extension of business ecology, explorations were made to establish a bridge for international services and satisfy the increasingly diversified health needs of the public.



Meanwhile, Vice President Mr. Li Jiancheng pointed out that the “excellent medical techniques” and “patients first” service philology demonstrated in the sharing by two experts are very impressive. Among them, the medical humanistic feelings of “patients first and people-centered” coincide with HCHORIZON’s brand concept of “good medical services within everyone’s reach”. It is hoped that HCHORIZON and Cancer Institute Hospital can strengthen interaction, deepen exchanges in the future and look forward to a wider road of cooperation.
