Recently, Far East Horizon formally signed the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI) as an "Investment Manager," becoming a PRI signatory. This once again fully demonstrates the company's steadfast commitment to sustainable finance.

As the world's most influential responsible investment alliance, PRI brings together over 4,000 international financial institutions, dedicated to integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors into investment decision-making. Far East Horizon commits to adhering to PRI's six core principles, deepening the integration of sustainable development and financial services.

The Six Principles of PRI

1. Incorporate ESG issues into investment analysis and decision-making processes

2. Be an active owner and incorporate ESG issues into ownership policies and practices

3. Seek appropriate disclosure on ESG issues by the entities in which we invest

4. Promote acceptance and implementation of the Principles within the investment industry

5. Work together to enhance effectiveness in implementing the Principles

6. Report on activities and progress toward implementing the Principles

As a comprehensive group spanning finance and industry, Far East Horizon has long practiced the philosophy of "Creating Value to Share, Building Harmonious Development Together." In recent years, the company has set a 2050 carbon neutrality target for its entire value chain, with its carbon targets certified by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), fully aligned with the Paris Agreement's 1.5°C pathway. Moving forward, we will further enhance our professional capabilities in ESG through responsible investment, directing capital toward green and low-carbon industries to support the Paris Agreement's 1.5°C temperature control goal. Simultaneously, we will actively learn from and share experiences with global leading institutions to jointly build a more sustainable financial ecosystem.
