05 CDHORIZON Helps Bring Hong Kong International Airport's Passenger Concourse to the Finish Line

CDHORIZON has been providing end-to-end, high-standard equipment services to help the T2 Concourse project at Hong Kong International Airport enter its final sprint, delivering critical support for the three-runway system upgrade. The project came with tough challenges: stringent safety standards, cross-border compliance, and a tight schedule. CDHORIZON moved 30 units of 28-meter aerial work platforms from the mainland to Hong Kong—handling transport, customs, and site deployment—in just one week. With at least three inspections and maintenance checks per week, the equipment ran without a single failure. A dedicated local Hong Kong team ensured full compliance, keeping the project on track. The T2 Concourse is the centerpiece of the airport's expansion. It includes 310,000 square meters of passenger waiting areas and 1.4 million square meters of aprons and support facilities. Once it opens by the end of this year, it will significantly boost the airport's capacity, helping Hong Kong International Airport reach 120 million annual passengers by 2035.
