Its hundred-year journey surges forward with great momentum. Its original aspiration remains even firmer one hundred years later. On July 16th, the activity of Far East Horizon to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the funding of the party was grandly held in Shanghai Far East Horizon Plaza. Kong Fanxing, sectary of Far East Horizon Party Committee and Chief Executive Officer, addressed a report with the theme of “keep in mind the original aspirations and mission and carry out the responsibility to shoulder”.

Members of the Far East Party Committee and all leading groups, members of directly affiliated party branches, representatives of outstanding party members and newly developed party members attended the activity. Representatives of democratic parties, some managers and core employees also attended the ceremony. The event was carried out in the form of live broadcast and video streaming, with more than 1,100 participants.

 

Since the establishment of the Far East Party Committee in 2007, it has gone through a history of 14 years. Up to now, there are 39 primary Party organizations in the Far East, with about 800 party members. Under the leadership of the Party Central Committee and higher-level party committee, the Far East Party Committee takes “Integrating global resources, Promoting China's industries” as its mission and driving force for its own development. Far East Party always keeps in the same direction with the development of the country, transforms the political advantages of the party organization into the company's advantages of management, and provides a strong ideological, political and organizational guarantee for the promotion of the company's development.

 

 

In his speech, Wang Ruisheng, deputy secretary and vice president of the Far East Party Committee, said that at the beginning of the “14th Five-Year Plan” period and the historical confluence of the “Two Centenary” goals, the Far East Party Committee has studied and implemented the spirit of the Party Central Committee, has kept exploring the laws of the company's survival and development, and has constantly deepen its “finance plus industry” business strategy. With the joint efforts of all Far Easterners, the company presented an excellent transcript to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Party.

Recall the Oaths to Join the Party

 

For Communists, the oath under the Party flag is sacred and solemn. Reading and reviewing the oaths is to abide by his own determination and conviction when remembering the oath is to spur and encourage himself.

 

Secretary Kong led the new probationary party members and all the party members that present on stage in 2021, facing the bright red party flag, raising his right fist to read and review the party oath. The sound was strong and firm, resounding through Far East Horizon Plaza.

Awarding of “Two Excellences and One Priority”

 

The Far East Party Committee gave full play to the role of the grass-rooted party organization as a battle bastion and exemplary role of party members in all aspects of their work. A number of advanced collectives and individuals have emerged and have born the palms.

 

Deputy Secretary Wang Ruisheng presented awards to the advanced grass-rooted party organizations commended by the Shanghai Pudong New Area Social Work Committee and the World Expo Party Working Committee. Wang also encouraged all grassroots party organizations to continue to strengthen in standardization, to improve in innovation, and to promote the company’s operation and management to a higher level.

“Take the Long March Road Again Online” Awarding

 

On the occasion of celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the Party Committee of the Far East organized a large-scale running challenge of “Take the Long March Road Again Online” to pass the concept of “commemorating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the party, passing the Far East spirit, and strengthening the will and physique” to the subordinates of Far East Horizon Companies, directly accessing to the distal end of nerve in offices, hospitals, schools, etc. Wang Mingzhe, Deputy Secretary of the Far East Party Committee and Chief Financial Officer, presented awards to the teams that won the “Excellent Organization Award” at the event.

 

The number of participants reached 5,100 and the number of junctions was nearly 4,000. They are account managers rushing to the customer site, security personnel patrolling the company building every day, industrial workers working on the front line of construction and health care worker working in urban and rural areas… They are the sparkling stars that light the finance and industry of the Far East.

The Far East Party Committee specially customized the Far East version of “Youth” MV, whose participants were all grassroots employees of the Far East. Their performances ignited the atmosphere of the scene with singing the main theme of the long struggle journey of the Far Easterners to offer the best wishes to the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the future development of the company.

Looking back on the party's centenary journey and back to the 20-year history of the company’s southward move, Kong could not help feeling that with the rapid growth of the country, the Far East has grown with the momentum. From mere 11 people and a few carts of materials, it has grown to more than 20,000 employees and a large integrated group spanning finance and industry.

 

Far Easterners have closely integrated their 20-year history, the party's 100-year journey and the country’s development and resonate with them at the same frequency. We love China and we love the land because we were born and grew up here; we also love the Far East because we can contribute to the development of the country. This is the heart of the Far East.
