Recently, the first work conference of the Consultative Committee on Guangdong-Hong Kong Cooperation (Guangzhou Nansha) (the “CCGHKC) in 2024 was convened in Nansha. Upon invitation, Fehorizon’s Vice President Mr. Xu Huibin attended the conference on behalf of the Company, and received an expert appointment letter from the financial cooperation working group of the CCGHKC. The event was also attended by Mr. Liang Zhenying, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC and adviser for the CCGHKC.

The Consultative Committee on Guangdong-Hong Kong Cooperation (Guangzhou Nansha) (the “CCGHKC)

The Consultative Committee on Guangdong-Hong Kong Cooperation (Guangzhou Nansha) (the “CCGHKC) is a specialized consultancy service of the state for decision making at a high level. Since its establishment in April 2021, with an operation mode similar to that of the Consultative Committee of Hong Kong and 14 special working groups covering financial cooperation, information technology & data connectivity, land planning & development, policy research & promotion, etc., it has been appointing personnel from the mainland and Hong Kong to facilitate consultation on projects in specialized areas, integrating wisdom on both sides to come up with practical advice consistent with the actual situation and demand of Guangdong and Hong Kong, and deepening the cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong. Currently, the CCGHKC has 24 Hong Kong members, 16 mainland members and 41 experts, and Vice Chairman of the CPPCC Mr. Liang Zhenying serves as an adviser for the CCGHKC.

Over the past three years, the CCGHKC has launched a series of innovative work, including promoting the “Overall Plan of Nansha of Guangzhou for Deepening the Comprehensive Global Cooperation among Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao” and implementing a batch of key projects, such as the Data Protection and Cross-Border Data Service Platform of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area, the Shipping & Trading Center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area, the Guangzhou Nansha Climate Investment and Financing Center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area and the Cross-Border Financial and Asset Management Center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area (Nansha, Guangzhou), to make effective use of the CCGHKC as a “think tank,” “general office” and “super contact” for the comprehensive and in-depth cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong.

As a company registered and listed in Hong Kong, Fehorizon’s business spans across finance and industry. In April 2023, Fehorizon set up a southern operation center in Nansha, Guangzhou to promote the development of real economy in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Bay Area. In May 2023, CDHORIZON—an integrated equipment operation service provider under Fehorizon—achieved successful listing in Hong Kong, and its south China headquarters of almost 40,000 square meters in Nanshan, Guangzhou has been officially put into use since 2021, to provide its clients in south China with a strong guarantee for equipment leasing services.

In the future, Fehorizon will continue to give play to its operation advantages of “marketization, internationalization and specialization,” and, based on the strategic positioning of “Backed by Mainland, Based in Hong Kong, Influencing Southeast Asia,” make substantive efforts in promoting the comprehensive cooperation and joint development of Guangdong and Hong Kong as a patriotic Hong Kong-invested enterprise. With the help of the “finance + industry” strategic layout of Fehorizon, focusing on “the needs of Hong Kong, the strengths of Nansha, the needs of Nansha and the capabilities of Hong Kong,” it will promote the creation of an important strategic platform based in the Greater Bay Area which cooridnates Hong Kong and Macao and faces the world through joint efforts between Nanshan and Hong Kong, and make positive contribution to deepening the comprehensive cooperation between Guangdong and Hong Kong and strengthening the construction of the Greater Bay Area.
