From May 26 to 30, the 2024 Hong Kong-Macao-Shandong Week hosted by the Provincial People’s Government of Shandong and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council was held in Hong Kong and Macao. During the event, delegations from the municipal governments of Jinan, Qingdao, Linyi and some governments at district or county level visited the Hong Kong headquarters of Fehorizon.

Vice President of Fehorizon Mr. Zhan Jing respectively met with leaders including Zhang Baoliang (Mayor of Linyi), Wang Bo (member of the standing committee of the municipal Party committee and Deputy Mayor of Qingdao), and Yang Li (Deputy Mayor of Jinan). Mr. Zhan welcomed the delegations of various municipal governments and introduced the development situation of Fehorizon. He pointed out that as a major northern province of China with great economic power, Shandong has a complete range of industries, a rapidly developing economy and strong comprehensive strength, which makes it an important stronghold for supporting Fehorizon’s future development. Fehorizon highly values its cooperation with Shandong Province. Over the years, it has been offering integrated financial services for the development of various enterprises and the urban upgrade of Shandong, with many cases of successful cooperation yielded. As a patriotic Hong Kong-invested enterprise, Fehorizon will give full play to the advantages of its integrated domestic and overseas resources, continue to improve its core competitiveness, and join in the high-quality development of Shandong while contributing to the construction of Shandong into a great modern province with the “marketized, internationalized and specialized” comprehensive service capabilities of Fehorizon.

During the talk, leaders of cities including Jinan, Qingdao and Liny affirmed the intensive efforts of Fehorizon in city services, and consensus was reached on furthering cooperation, promoting urban renewal, revitalizing urban assets and other areas including deepening industrial investment promotion, medical services, education investment and introduction of foreign capital.

In addition, leaders including Li Guanghui (head of Laiwu District of Jinan City), Zhao Mingyin (Secretary of the Party committee of Dongying District, Dongying City), Zhang Hongye (Mayor of Pingdu, Qingdao City), and Lu Wei (member of the Party working committee of the Demonstration Zone of Shanghe Cooperation Organization) also paid a visit to Fehorizon, and both parties exchanged opinions on giving playing to their respective resources, completing each other’s advantages, and promoting cooperation in multiple fields.

During the Hong Kong-Macao-Shandong Week, Fehorizon and some municipal governments achieved intent of cooperation surrounding the basic industries of national economy and people’s livelihood, and strategic cooperation agreements were signed between Fehorizon and the municipal government of Yantai, the municipal government of Qingdao and the government of Licheng District, Jinan respectively. The signing parties indicated: in line with the principles of “equality & mutual benefit, joint development, and complementary advantages,” they will enhance mutual trust and communication, allow full play to their capital and industrial resources and professional competence, maximize their respective advantages in aspects including financial leasing, financial services, project investment and overseas business, strive to conduct intensive cooperation at multiple levels, in multiple fields and on multiple dimensions, establish a long-term and in-depth partnership, and contribute to the high-quality development of regional economy.

Next, Fehorizon will continuously persist in seeking truth, pragmatism and high-quality development, actively explore a government-enterprise cooperation mode with complementary resources and diversified values, establish a long-term, stable and comprehensive cooperation partnership with various governments at district and municipal levels of Shandong Province, reinforce business model innovation in traditionally superior fields, achieve win-win cooperation in multiple aspects, and join hands to boost Shandong’s socio-economic development of high quality.
