Amid the rapid global growth of the computing power and optical communications industries, indium phosphide—a core semiconductor material for manufacturing high-speed optical chips, 5G RF chips, and other modules—has become one of the key substrates underpinning AI computing power networks. In Qingdao West Coast New Area, a local government key indium phosphide industrial project is advancing at full speed. As a professional integrated equipment operation service provider under FEHORIZON, CDHORIZON has been deeply involved in the construction of its plant facilities, deploying high-specification equipment and round-the-clock service support to help accelerate domestic production of this critical material.

The indium phosphide project in which CDHORIZON is participating is located in Huangdao, Qingdao, and is a local government key project that officially broke ground in mid-July this year. The project comprises a large-scale plant with a floor area of tens of thousands of square meters and a four-story main structure, covering multiple processes including civil construction, steel structure erection, mechanical and electrical installation, and decoration. It is scheduled for completion by the end of the year. Once completed, the project will further strengthen the optoelectronics industry cluster in Qingdao West Coast New Area, becoming an important base for compound semiconductor and high-speed optical module manufacturing in the region and providing strong support for the self-reliance and controllability of China's optical communications industrial chain.

The construction of this semiconductor plant comes with stringent requirements and a tight schedule, with round-the-clock, uninterrupted work. CDHORIZON deployed more than 150 aerial work platforms ranging from 4 to 26 meters, precisely allocated according to process requirements and working heights, to serve scenarios such as steel structure lifting, mechanical and electrical conduit installation, and wall coating. This ensured efficient, coordinated multi-trade operations. To match the construction pace, CDHORIZON set up a "point-to-point" online service mechanism, dispatching equipment to the site at least once per day with each one-way service run exceeding one hour. It also improved nighttime staffing and emergency dispatch, implementing staggered shifts and round-the-clock response to promptly handle equipment maintenance and ad-hoc vehicle deployment needs, ensuring seamless continuity of key processes.

Today, major countries around the world are elevating AI development to the level of national strategy. In this race for future competitiveness—from independent breakthroughs in critical materials such as indium phosphide to the high-standard construction of industrial parks—China's manufacturing sector is accelerating efforts to solidify its industrial foundation and break through technological barriers. Going forward, leveraging FEHORIZON's "Finance + Industry" synergy, CDHORIZON will continue to work on the front lines of construction, contributing to the localization of critical semiconductor materials and the high-quality development of "Made in China" through professional equipment and services in collaboration with industry chain partners.
